Mayor of the City of Candiac since 2011, Mr. Dyotte is interested in the record collective transportand active for many years. He has served on the boards of theMetropolitan Transit Authority Regional (increased) and theQuebec Association of Transportation and intermunicipal News (ure) and the Steering Committee Mobility Montréal.
He chairs the Standing Committee on Municipal Infrastructure and Transport Policy of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) and is a member of the Planning Commission and Transport ofUnion of Quebec Municipalities (Vol).
During his tenure on the Executive Committee Montreal Metropolitan Community (CMM), as a representative and spokesperson of the municipalities of the South Shore, he helped define the main directions for development at the metropolitan level. So, mobility and sustainable development are at the heart of projects City of Candiac. The deployment, in the territory of Candiac, of the first autonomous Shuttle on public roads in Canada is without doubt the reflection of its commitment to smart and innovative city.
Before being elected mayor, Mr. Dyotte served as alderman of the City of Candiac for six years. He is retired from Hydro Quebec where he worked for more than 30 years.
